9 Crochet Leaf Patterns FREE

The following Crochet Leaf Patterns are the crochet leaves I use regularly in my crochet flower and bouquet projects or embellishments.

They are super easy and simple, and a great way to add a touch of nature to your crochet projects.

I used several different sizes using a mash-up of all these crochet leaf patterns to add some extra color to my crochet flower wall display.

Crochet leaf pattern #1

Chain 11

Sc in 3rd chain from hook, Hdc in the next, 2 Dc in the next, TrC in the next, 2TrC in the next, TrC in the next, Dc in the next 2sts, Hdc in the next, work [Sc, Ch1, Sc] in last chain.

(Turning your work slightly and now working back down the other side of the chain sts.

Hdc into the next st, Dc in the next 2sts, TrC in the next, 2TrC in the next, TrC in the next, 2Dc into the next st,  Hdc in the next st, Sc in the last,  sl st to join.

Stop here for a leaf without the stem, Do NOt fasten off if creating a stem.

Creating the Stem.

The Stem of the crochet leaf is made by slip stitching BACK down the Center of the chain sts, the space created between the 2 sides of where the stitches meet

STEM: ch1, sl st, and now insert the hook in the center of your leaf, yarn over and pull through the leaf and the loop on the hook, and continue working the slip stitches all the way back through the center chain spaces of the leaf.  ch 5, and Fasten Off weaving in ends.

Easy Fast Crochet Leaf Pattern #2

Using a 3.00mm hook and green yarn

I made a few leaves for the rose in just 1 round and then made some of the bigger ones, (Leaf pattern number 2)

With Double Knit yarn and a 3.5mm hook, the finished length of the leaf measures 3 inches

ch13,  Sc in 2nd ch from hook, Hdc in next,  Dc in next 3sts,  Trc in next st, 2TrC in next st, Dc in next 2sts, Hdc, sc,  slip st to last Ch,  and turn work so you can now work the second side of the crochet leaf, working back along the opposite side of the  stitches just made

(into the first chain: work ch1, slst) sc into the next,  Hdc, Dc in next 2sts, 2TrC in next st, TrC in next, Dc in next 3 sts, Dc in next st, Sc in nxt st,  Ch1, and slip to join. Fasten off and weave in ends

Crochet Leaf Pattern #3

With Double Knit yarn and a 3.5mm hook the finished leaf measures 4 inches

Rnd 1: Ch12, make sl st into 2nd Ch from hook, 1 Sc into next ch, 1 Hdc into next ch, 2 Dc in next 2Chs, TrC in next 2 chs, make 1 Dc in each next 2 chs, and 1 Hdc into next Ch, (Sc into next Ch, Ch1 Sc all into the LAST chain) TURNING  the leaf to start working BACK down into the opposite side of the leaf chain,  1 Hdc next st, Dc in next 2 sts, make 1 TrC in next 2 sts, make 1Dc in next 2 sts, 1 Hdc into next st, Sc into next st, Ch1, and sl-st into the top of the leaf to join.

Rnd 2: Sc into each stitch around working 2Sc, ch1, 2Sc at the turning point of the top of the leaf.

Rnd 3: ch1, *slst, ch1 into the next st* Repeat around.
