Sweet Summer Baby Dress Crochet Pattern
FREE Crochet Baby Dress pattern. The Sweet Summer Crochet Baby Dress is a beautiful and breathable design thatโs perfect for warmer weatherโand itโs completely free in 2 sizes: 0โ3 months, and 6โ12 months.

This dress is worked top-down in one piece, so thereโs no seaming required, and itโs beginner-friendly with a simple stitch pattern. I designed it using Stylecraft Special 4-ply yarn and a 3.5 mm hook, which gives it a lovely drape without being too heavy for delicate baby skin.
The Dress also pairs beautifully with the matching Sweet Summer Baby Bonnet, so you can create a complete outfit setโperfect for gifting or adding to your baby girlโs summer wardrobe. Click here for the free bonnet pattern

Baby Dress Crochet Pattern
Construction: Top-down, worked flat for yoke, then in rounds for skirt. Begins at the neck edge.
I have added some close-up pictures to help guide you. (please note the stitches have been stretched out to let you see the pattern better)
Additional Notes:
- Chest and waist measurements are typically close to identical in baby garments for comfort and ease.
- Dress length includes the full measurement from the top of the shoulder down to the hem.
- Armhole depth is crucial for raglan-style or sleeveless designs to ensure ease of movement.
- Neck opening must accommodate head circumference, so slight stretch is assumed.
- Shoulder width helps with shaping the yoke and fit around the neckline.

I used Stylecraft 4 plyย (UK) Fingering (US) (just over 100grms for small size, 200 g for larger size )
