Free Easy Crochet Flower Pattern PERFECT for Hats

This is a straightforward, easy-to-crochet flower, which you can use to embellish hats, cardigans, bags, or even use as a keyring. 

You can make these crochet flowers in any yarn and any hook size.

I love crocheting flowers, in fact, they are so easy to make that you will soon be making them too.
Crochet Flowers are a great way to finish off some of your Baby hats, and hairbands, or even to add to a bag, sweater or scarf, the creative side is limitless.

It’s so easy to make the crochet flowers and pop them into a bag so that when you need a crocheted flower to add a little something to a plain crochet baby hat

NOTE: ( ) Work everything in the brackets into the same st, the Petals are ALL worked into the chain 1 space of Rnd 3

Rnd 1: Ch 2 , and work sc 9 into the first ch. slst to join(9sts)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, *2sc into next st, sc 1 into next st, rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc. (18 sts)

Rnd 3: ch1, sc into the base of the ch1, * skip 1. sc into the next st,* repeat from * to * around, slip into the first sc to join, and slip along to the FIRST chain 1 space to start the next round

Rnd 4:Working the Petals into the Chain 1 spaces,  *Ch2, and working into the ch1,(work dc, trc, ch2) st, continue working (ch2, dc, trc, dc,ch3 )into each stitch around; join with sl st in first dc. 

Fasten off and weave in ends 

Sew a button or large bead in the center of the flower to help fasten your crochet flower to your crochet project
