And requests to have NO seams to sew! and include 3 sizes small, medium, and Large

I developed a more sleek fitted hood, making a less pointy hooded cowl but still incorporating the popular ribbed turtleneck with the hoodie in keeping with the original crochet hooded cowl design!

The NO Point Turtleneck Hoodie Pattern Construction Summary

You will start to crochet the no-point hood first by chaining length for your head size and working in a U shape around the chain, increasing stitches each round until your desired size is achieved.

For the original hooded cowl, I worked in double crochet (dc) and the back loops of the stitches, but because we are working half double crochet and working in the U shape around the chain it makes a nice stitch pattern as it is. But you can work these rows in the Back Loops of the previous sts if you wish.

**This crochet hoodie pattern can be used to add a hood to a sweater or cardigan this would also be a great hoodie crochet pattern to turn the sweater into a crocheted hoodie. Just make the sweater and then attach the completed hood without the ribbing to the sweater!

you will continue working in ROWS until hood WIDTH is achieved.

Summary of the Turtleneck Crochet Pattern

The roll neck ribbing for the cowl, which can be used to cover the face from the nose down or rolled down like a turtleneck is made by joining yarn to the middle of the bottom of the hood and working a FULL row of half double crochet into the BOTTOM edges (posts of previous rows sts) of the hood, from FIRST st of LAST round to LAST st of LAST round.

The turtle neck is made using Front Post and Back Post half double crochet stitches worked alternatively in the round.
