I am often asked How many chains do you need to start a baby blanket? SO by using the table above.

The Starting chain will be the WIDTH measurement of the size you want to make. And the HEIGHT of the blanket will be how many rows you need to work

So IF I wanted a Baby Blanket Using the Blanket sizing Table Above, I would

Create a chain that measures 36 inches, I would then work in the pattern I had selected until my work reached 36 inches. For a baby blanket, I make the main pattern this size! and IF I am adding on a border. (This is ‘extra’ to the blanket measurements.)
