Golf Driver Cover Crochet Pattern
TO Crochet a Driver Cover you will need Aran weight yarn, and a 5.00mm hook – Shop craft essentials here
The DRIVER Golf Headcover is worked in 2 sections. You will create a ribbed section working back and forth in the BACK loop of the stitches stated.
- Then the first and the last rows of ribbing are joined with a slip stitch to make a tube.
- You will then make stitches evenly around the top of the tube and continue as stated.

Golf Club Cover Crochet Pattern – 1 DRIVER
Materials Required
Aran Weight yarn
4.50mm hook
Ch 31 to start.
Row 1: starting in the 2nd chain from hook bl-slst in the first 10 sts sc in the remaining sts TURN (30sts)
Row 2 to Row 13: ch1, bl-sc in first 20 sts, bl-slst, TURN (30sts)
Row 14: Ch1, bl-slst in next 10 sts, bl-sc in next 20 sts TURN
Row 15: Ch1. bl-slst in first 10 sts, bl-sc in next 20 sts
Row 16 to Row 21: Repeat Row 11 and Row 12.
Row 22 to Row 29: ch1, blsc in each stitch to end. TURN

FOLD the piece in HALF and join the first and last row together by working slip stitch to join evenly to end.
(Make sure the Bloop slipstitches are at the TOP of work)

We will now be working in ROUNDS
Holding the TUBE at the TOP ( TOP of tube is the end where the slip stitches are)
Join Chosen Main color of yarn, ch 1 and we need to make 28 single crochet stitches around, join with a slip st.(28sts)
Rnd 2: ch1, *2sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts,* Repeat *to* around, sc in last 2 sts (34sts)
Rnd 3: ch1, single crochet in each st around, join with a slip st. (34sts)
Rnd 4: Ch1, sc in next 3 sts, 2sc in next st. Repeat around; join with a sl st. (42sts)
Rnd 5: Change Colour HERE: (sc, ch1, sc) In first st, skip 1 st, (sc, ch1, sc)* repeat around, slst to join. (21 V sts)
Rnd 6: change the color back to the main color: (sc, ch1, sc) in the first ch1 of first V of the last round, skip 1st, ( in next st, sc, ch1, sc)* repeat around, slst to join. (21 V sts)
Rnd 7: Change color here: (sc, ch1, sc) in first ch1 of first V of last round, skip 1 st, (in nxt st sc, ch1, sc)* repeat around, slst to join. (21 Vsts)
Rnd 8: change color here back to main colour: ch1, *single crochet in the st between the V sts and sc in the ch1 space; join with a slip st. (42sts)

Row 4 to Row 10: Repeat Rows 2 and 3.
Row11: Blsc in each stitch, ch1, TURN
Row 14 to Row 24: Blsc in each stitch, ch1, Do not fasten off
FOLD the piece in HALF and join the first and last row together either sew seams together by the long tail from beginning or by working slip stitch to end.
You will now have a TUBE.
We will now be working in ROUNDS
