You need 5 of The Sunflower Granny square pattern which we will turn into a classic festival-ready sunflower Bucket hat.
I hadn’t intentionally set out to write this pattern as it is quite similar to the Original Granny Square Bucket Hat pattern.
But I was asked for the written pattern and steps to connect the sunflower squares to make a bucket hat!

The original granny square bucket hat pattern requires you to crochet the top Crown of the bucket hat, whereas for the purpose of the sunflower hat we will use 1 FULL sunflower Granny Square square as the Crown.
SO really the only difference is I used a Sunflower granny Square at the top of the hat and worked AROUND the square adding the 4 squares AROUND the top Square.
Sounds complicated, It really is not once the squares are made then its easy to make the bucket hat

What you will need to crochet the Sunflower Granny Square HAT
1.You will need to make 5 of the original Sunflower Granny Squares – FULL PATTERN HERE
You will require 4 Sunflower Granny Squares

Finish off the connecting the squares by sewing the first and last sems together down the HAT

You will require 4 Sunflower Granny Squares Lay 4 squares side to side and Join the side seams to make a length. 
Place the 5 granny flower at the TOP of the First Granny Sqaure and Sew the touching seam together

*** NOTE If you want a VERY ruffly border work the FIRST row
Start with Row 1 as dc in the next 2 sts, 2dc in the next, Fasten off and weave in all ends.
Row 1: dc in first 3 sts, 2dc in the next, repeat until the end. slip to join,
Row 2: dc in first 4 sts, 2dc in next, repeat until end, slip to join
Row 3: dc in first 5sts, 2dc in next, repeat until end, slip to join.
