It was my grandson who suggested I add arms and Legs with a face to make this heart hug!
Materials you will need to crochet this leggy Heart
Size of finished heart (APPROX): 6 inches high – 5.5 inches wide
You will require a stitch marker
YARN – I used James C Brett Flutterby * SEE YARN DEALS HERE
A little bit of black and white for the face and eyes.
Size – 5.00 mm Crochet Hook
Although this IS no-sew, if you feel more comfortable sewing in the ends, use a tapestry needle to finish off and weave in the ends
Notes:
For NO HOLES in your heart, work Single Crochet Yarn UNDER hook instead of Yarn OVER
- The heart is crocheted from the bottom up. You can leave the arms and legs until you have finished crocheting the heart and add them later, once the heart is stuffed, by working the chains directly into the position you want the arms and legs to be.
- NOTES on the ARMS and LEGS position: Please Do not overcomplicate the pattern; if in doubt about where to position the next arm /leg) make sure it is placed exactly equally on each side by folding the heart in half!
