Now, this was a pattern found folded into an old bag, it was handwritten and it looked quite old, the handwriting was the very old cursive style script and reminded me of my grandmother’s writing.
It  was found tucked in with her recipes so this HAT is not fully my OWN pattern. The matching de-tatchable headband crochet pattern is available too but I added this one myself.
The Wide-brimmed hat is for an older small child I do have however some other crochet sunhat patterns available on my website.

Although this was originally made when I was requested if I could crochet a child’s, Easter Bonnet. When I found this old pattern I knew it would look amazing, crocheted up and proudly worn in the Easter parade.

I made a few tweaks to the hat, and guessed a bit.

It’s a gorgeous sunhat with its wide brim and the shape of the crown helps keep the sunhat on little heads.
