You could use any sized hook and any thickness of yarn. to make these. I have written down what I used.

Gauge is not essential.

Pattern Written in US.

Dc- Double Crochet

Sc – Single Crochet

slst – slip to join into specified stitch

I have included a video to show you how to start the scrunchie by crocheting around the hairband

Hook 4.00mm

1 x Elastic Hairband

Double Knit Yarn

Round 1: Make a slip knot onto your hook and Join Yarn to the hairband with single crochet.

SC around the Hairband. (as many as you feel you can squeeze in) The more the merrier and rufflier.

Rnd 2: Ch2, Working through both loops, 2dc in each stitch around.  Slip stitch to top of chain 2 to join.

Rnd3: Ch2, working through both loops, Work 2dc in each stitch around.  Slip St, to top of ch2 to join.

Fasten off and weave in ends

This crochet project is So easy to make, but I warn you they are addictive. How many will you make?
