The Daisies can be crocheted with a few simple materials and some basic crochet skills, and are perfect to add to a crochet flower bouquet, to sell, or to gift.

To crochet a simple daisy flower, you will need:

Yarn in White
a small amount of green and Yellow Yarn (for the Centers)
Crochet hook- You can use your preferred hook size and relevant yarn – I used a 3.500mm  and a 4.00mm crochet hook for the daisies in the pictures with 2 strands of DK worked together
Scissors
Yarn needle
Glue Gun
Wooden Kebab Sticks and green yarn to wind around the stick.

TO START the Crochet Daisies

Make 2 Center Circles, 1x YELLOW 1x Green

Rnd 1: Ch2, and work 6 single crochet, DO NOT JOIN  (6sts)

Rnd 2: *2sc in each sc*  Repeat around, sl st to the next st, and fasten off yellow. (12sts)

Rnd 3: sc into each stitch around, slip st, and fasten off

HOLDING the 2 Pieces you have just made with the Right side facing out,  slip to join in WHITE WORKING THROUGH BOTH stitches of yellow and green pieces.

Each Petal is worked into the SAME stitch

First Petal : (WHITE) *Ch 7, slip st into the 2nd st from hook, sc in next st, hdc in next  st,  dc in next 3sts, hdc in the last ch and  slst into the same space to finish the first petal, slip stitch into the next st of the main circle  REPEAT from * to * around

Repeat around for Every Petal (12 Petals in total) as you near the last few petals lightly stuff between the yellow and green before closing.

You will probably find your Daisy Flower Petals are a little bit CURLED up at the ends.

I prefer to BLOCK my Daisy Flowers. This is really simple to do

To Block my Flower petals I will use an old cork noticeboard and some Pins. Spray Lightly with Water and leave to dry.

Once your Daisies are Dry and nice and flat, we are now going to attach the flowers to a long stem I prefer to use kebab wooden sticks for the stems. As they stand better, especially for a flower bouquet.

For this next stage you will need a Glue Gun

Using Green Yarn twist around the stick until the green has covered all the wood, then place a little glue to hold the green yarn at the top to stop it from unraveling then insert the top of the stick with the glue. En through the GREEN into the Stuffing.
