free crochet pattern baby cardigan

I Love the look of vintage crochet patterns, but in the beginning, was put off by the way they were written.  The measurements, yarn, and hook sizes vary considerably to what we are used to.

However, I have been trying out some of the patterns on Free Vintage Crochet Patterns and I love how this little Baby cardigan jacket has turned out.

I used Double Knit (Sport Weight)  and a 3.500mm (E/4) hook and It turned out perfectly for a 0-3 months baby 18 inches around the underarm.

I will tell you the pattern is written briefly, and at times you need to guess, as the usage of directions is minimal However, saying that I had no difficulty at all making this little cardigan.
