Last Updated: September 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of LisaAuch Crochet, including https://crochet-patterns-free.com/, its pages, crochet patterns, tutorials, photographs, graphics, videos, downloadable materials, digital products and other content (collectively, the “Site”).

“LisaAuch Crochet,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to LisaAuch Crochet and the operator of this Site.

Important — Please Read These Terms Before Using This Website

BY ACCESSING, BROWSING OR USING THIS SITE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN PROVIDED WITH NOTICE OF THESE TERMS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OR OUR PRIVACY POLICY, DO NOT ACCESS, BROWSE OR USE THIS WEBSITE.

These Terms contain important provisions concerning your legal rights and remedies, including provisions relating to dispute resolution, arbitration where legally applicable, limitations of liability, privacy, data collection and, where legally enforceable, the bringing of certain claims on an individual rather than class, collective or representative basis.

Please read these Terms carefully before continuing to use the Site.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or waives any statutory, privacy, consumer or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing, browsing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site.

Where applicable law requires separate affirmative consent for a particular activity, technology or form of data processing, your general use of the Site does not replace that consent.

  • interactions with the Site.

Our vendors, advertising partners and other service providers may also collect or process information as described in our Privacy Policy and their applicable privacy disclosures.

By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have been provided with notice of the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

Where applicable law requires consent before non-essential technologies may be used, those technologies will be subject to the consent choices provided to you through the Site.

You may change or withdraw available consent choices through the privacy or consent controls provided on the Site.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to treat continued browsing as consent where applicable law requires separate affirmative consent.

5. California and Other U.S. Privacy Choices

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Depending upon applicable law and the processing involved, these may include rights relating to:

  • access to personal information;
  • correction;
  • deletion;
  • targeted advertising;
  • certain sales or sharing of personal information; and
  • other privacy choices provided by applicable law.

Where available, privacy choices may be exercised through the privacy controls provided on the Site, including any applicable “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, restrict or remove a privacy right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

6. Google Analytics and Analytics Technologies

LisaAuch Crochet may use Google Analytics and other analytics technologies to help us understand how visitors use the Site.

Analytics information may include information concerning page views, sessions, traffic sources, devices, browsers and interactions with Site content.

Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential analytics technologies, those technologies are subject to the consent choices provided through the Site.

For visitors in jurisdictions where prior consent is required, including where applicable in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area and Switzerland, non-essential analytics technologies may be delayed or restricted until the required consent has been obtained.

Further information is provided in our Privacy Policy.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Site and its original content are owned by or licensed to LisaAuch Crochet and are protected by applicable copyright, intellectual-property and other laws.

This includes, without limitation:

  • crochet patterns;
  • pattern wording and instructions;
  • original crochet designs;
  • tutorials;
  • photographs;
  • graphics;
  • diagrams;
  • charts;
  • downloadable PDF files;
  • videos;
  • website copy;
  • logos;
  • branding; and
  • other original Site content.

© LisaAuch Crochet. All Rights Reserved.

Making content available free of charge on this Site does not place that content in the public domain and does not transfer copyright or ownership.

Access to a free crochet pattern does not give you permission to reproduce, republish or distribute the pattern.

8. Crochet Pattern Use

You are welcome to make finished handmade items from LisaAuch Crochet patterns for:

  • personal use;
  • gifts;
  • charity; and
  • small-scale sale,

unless an individual pattern specifically states otherwise.

Where you sell finished handmade items created from a LisaAuch Crochet pattern, credit to LisaAuch Crochet as the original pattern designer is appreciated and may be required where stated with the individual pattern.

You May Not

Unless you have received prior written permission from LisaAuch Crochet or applicable law expressly permits the use, you may not:

  • copy or republish a LisaAuch Crochet pattern in whole or in substantial part;
  • copy substantial portions of pattern instructions;
  • rewrite a LisaAuch Crochet pattern and publish or distribute the rewritten version;
  • upload or distribute a pattern as text, PDF, document, photograph, screenshot or other file;
  • translate and republish a pattern;
  • reproduce pattern instructions on another website, blog, forum, app or social-media platform;
  • create or publish a written or video tutorial that substantially reproduces our pattern instructions;
  • upload LisaAuch Crochet patterns to pattern-sharing websites, databases, apps or other services for redistribution;
  • remove copyright notices;
  • claim a LisaAuch Crochet pattern or original design as your own;
  • use LisaAuch Crochet photographs to advertise or sell your own finished products;
  • crop, edit, alter, add text to or otherwise republish LisaAuch Crochet photographs without permission;
  • reproduce, share or distribute purchased PDF patterns;
  • resell our PDF patterns or other Digital Products;
  • use LisaAuch Crochet patterns for factory production or mass manufacturing; or
  • authorise another person or business to do any of the above.

When selling finished handmade items, you must use your own photographs of the item you made.

You may share a normal link directing people to the original pattern page on LisaAuch Crochet.

Additional conditions are contained in our:

Crochet Pattern Use & Copyright Policy:
https://crochet-patterns-free.com/crochet-pattern-use-copyright-policy/

9. Scraping, Apps, AI and Automated Content Extraction

Except where applicable law provides otherwise, you may not use automated systems, bots, scrapers, crawlers, data-mining technologies or similar systems to systematically copy, extract, reproduce, download or create databases containing LisaAuch Crochet patterns, photographs or other protected Site content without our prior written permission.

Public availability of our content does not place that content in the public domain.

You may not, without permission or another lawful basis:

  • scrape or systematically extract our patterns;
  • reproduce our Site content inside another website or application;
  • make our patterns available through a third-party app in a manner that substitutes for visiting the original LisaAuch Crochet page;
  • repackage our free patterns as content for another commercial service;
  • reproduce our photographs or graphics;
  • create a substitute pattern library from our content;
  • redistribute our paid PDF patterns;
  • remove, obscure or bypass attribution, copyright information or advertising while reproducing our content elsewhere;
  • use our protected content to populate a third-party pattern database; or
  • falsely imply that LisaAuch Crochet has authorised, partnered with or endorsed a third-party service.

You may not upload, reproduce, redistribute or make our copyrighted patterns, photographs or other protected content available through an artificial-intelligence platform, pattern-generation service, content database or similar service for the purpose of reproducing, republishing or redistributing our protected content without permission or another lawful basis.

You may not use automated technologies to circumvent technical measures intended to protect the Site or its content.

Nothing in this section is intended to prevent ordinary lawful search-engine indexing or any use that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Enforcement of Our Rights

Where we identify suspected unauthorised copying, scraping, republication or redistribution, we reserve the right to take appropriate action.

This may include:

  • demanding removal;
  • issuing copyright notices;
  • submitting takedown requests;
  • contacting hosting providers;
  • contacting search engines;
  • reporting applications to app stores or platform operators;
  • requesting removal from social-media or other services;
  • restricting technical access where appropriate;
  • preserving evidence;
  • seeking compensation or other remedies where available; and
  • commencing or pursuing court proceedings or other legal action where appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms limits any copyright, database, contractual, technological or other legal remedy available to LisaAuch Crochet.

10. Digital Products, PDF Patterns, Downloads and Refunds

LisaAuch Crochet may sell downloadable crochet patterns, PDF patterns and other digital content (“Digital Products”).

Digital Products Are Non-Refundable

ALL SALES OF DIGITAL PRODUCTS, INCLUDING PDF CROCHET PATTERNS AND OTHER DOWNLOADABLE FILES, ARE FINAL ONCE THE DIGITAL CONTENT HAS BEEN SUPPLIED OR DOWNLOAD ACCESS HAS BEEN PROVIDED, EXCEPT WHERE A REFUND, REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR OTHER REMEDY IS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

Because Digital Products are supplied electronically and may be accessed or downloaded immediately, we do not provide refunds, exchanges or cancellations merely because you:

  • changed your mind;
  • purchased the wrong pattern;
  • purchased a duplicate;
  • no longer want the pattern;
  • did not read the product description before purchasing;
  • expected a physical product rather than a digital download;
  • do not have the required yarn, hook, materials, equipment or skill level;
  • are unable to open or print the file because of an issue with your own device, software, printer or internet connection; or
  • decide not to make the item after purchasing the pattern.

Immediate Supply of Digital Content

Where applicable consumer law provides a cancellation or cooling-off period for digital content, you expressly request that supply of the Digital Product begins immediately when you complete your purchase where the appropriate consent has been obtained.

Where required by applicable law, before immediate supply begins you will be asked to expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that by doing so you may lose a statutory right to cancel once supply of the digital content has begun.

Faulty or Incorrect Digital Content

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts a statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If a Digital Product is faulty, corrupted, materially different from its description or you receive the wrong file, please contact LisaAuch Crochet so that the issue can be investigated.

Where appropriate, the file may be corrected, replaced or re-supplied, or another remedy will be provided where required by applicable law.

A minor typographical error or pattern correction that can reasonably be corrected does not automatically create a right to a refund except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Digital Product Licence

Purchasing a Digital Product gives you a limited licence to use the pattern or other content in accordance with these Terms and any licence accompanying the product.

Purchasing a Digital Product does not transfer copyright or ownership of the pattern, photographs, charts, diagrams, written instructions or underlying content.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, share, upload, publish or otherwise distribute a purchased PDF pattern or other Digital Product except where expressly permitted by LisaAuch Crochet or applicable law.

Third-Party Marketplaces

Where a LisaAuch Crochet Digital Product is purchased through a third-party marketplace or platform, that platform’s applicable payment, delivery, cancellation and refund procedures may also apply.

Nothing in these Terms overrides a mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Some pages on the Site may contain affiliate links.

If you make a purchase after following an affiliate link, LisaAuch Crochet may receive a commission or other benefit at no additional cost to you unless expressly stated otherwise.

Individual pages may contain additional affiliate disclosures where appropriate.

12. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site may contain links to websites, videos, retailers, marketplaces, social networks and other services operated by third parties.

These third-party services are not controlled by LisaAuch Crochet.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for the content, availability, security, accuracy, products, services, privacy practices or terms of independent third-party websites or services.

A link to another website does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.

Your use of a third-party website or service is subject to that provider’s own terms and policies.

13. Crochet Patterns, Gauge, Sizing and Results

Crochet results can vary because of differences in:

  • yarn;
  • hooks;
  • tension;
  • gauge;
  • materials;
  • substitutions;
  • individual crochet technique; and
  • other factors.

Pattern measurements, yarn quantities, sizing information and gauge information are provided to assist you but cannot guarantee an identical finished result.

You are responsible for checking your gauge, materials, measurements and the suitability of a finished item for its intended purpose.

14. Baby and Children’s Items — Safety

Patterns for baby and children’s items are craft instructions and are not professional medical, product-safety or childcare advice.

You are responsible for selecting appropriate materials and ensuring that any finished item is suitable and safe for its intended use.

Small parts, buttons, ties, cords, embellishments, safety eyes and other components may create hazards for babies or young children.

Finished handmade items should always be used with appropriate adult supervision and in accordance with applicable safety guidance.

LisaAuch Crochet does not manufacture or inspect items made by users from our patterns.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LisaAuch Crochet is not responsible for alterations, material choices, workmanship or finished products created by third parties from our patterns.

15. No Professional Advice

Content on this Site is provided primarily for crochet, craft, educational and informational purposes.

Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, medical, financial or other regulated professional advice.

16. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the Site;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems;
  • introduce malware, malicious code or harmful technologies;
  • deliberately overload, attack or disrupt Site infrastructure;
  • impersonate LisaAuch Crochet;
  • falsely suggest an affiliation with LisaAuch Crochet;
  • infringe our copyright or other intellectual-property rights;
  • circumvent reasonable technological measures used to protect the Site;
  • use automated systems contrary to Section 9; or
  • use the Site in a manner that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, our intellectual property, our service providers or other visitors.

LisaAuch Crochet respects intellectual-property rights and expects users of the Site to do the same.

If you believe content appearing on the Site infringes copyright that you own or are authorised to represent, please contact us with sufficient information to identify:

  • the copyrighted work;
  • the allegedly infringing material;
  • its location on the Site;
  • your contact information; and
  • the basis upon which you are authorised to make the request.

We may request additional information reasonably necessary to investigate a copyright complaint.

Nothing in this section prevents a person from using a statutory copyright-reporting procedure available under applicable law.

18. Availability and Changes to the Site

We may modify, update, suspend, restrict or discontinue all or part of the Site where reasonably necessary.

We do not guarantee that the Site, any particular crochet pattern, tutorial or feature will always remain available.

We may correct errors in patterns, tutorials, measurements, prices, descriptions or other Site content.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

We do not warrant that the Site will always be:

  • available;
  • uninterrupted;
  • error-free;
  • secure; or
  • free from technical problems.

We do not warrant that every error will be corrected immediately.

We make no warranty that a particular crochet pattern will produce identical results for every user.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

20. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LISAUCH CROCHET AND ITS VENDORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, this includes claims arising from or relating to:

  • Site content;
  • crochet patterns or instructions;
  • third-party websites;
  • third-party services;
  • advertising technologies;
  • analytics technologies;
  • cookies and similar technologies;
  • website interactions; or
  • other services or technologies used in connection with the Site.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights.

21. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS HOW CERTAIN DISPUTES MAY BE RESOLVED.

21.1 Informal Resolution First

Before commencing arbitration or court proceedings, you and LisaAuch Crochet agree, where legally permissible, to make a reasonable good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

A written notice of dispute should include:

  • your full name;
  • appropriate contact details;
  • the nature and factual basis of the dispute;
  • the specific relief requested; and
  • information reasonably sufficient for us to identify the relevant interaction, transaction or Site visit.

The parties should allow at least 30 days after receipt of a complete notice to attempt to resolve the matter before commencing formal proceedings, unless urgent relief is required or applicable law provides otherwise.

This requirement does not apply where applicable law prohibits such a pre-dispute requirement or where complying with it would cause a statutory limitation period to expire.

21.2 Arbitration Where Legally Applicable

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, disputes or claims arising out of or relating to:

  • access to or use of the Site;
  • these Terms;
  • our Privacy Policy;
  • cookies;
  • pixels;
  • tags;
  • scripts;
  • analytics;
  • advertising technologies;
  • website interactions;
  • data collection or processing;
  • electronic communications;
  • Site content;
  • Digital Products; or
  • the relationship between you and LisaAuch Crochet or applicable vendors or service providers

may be required to be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than through court proceedings where a valid and enforceable arbitration agreement exists under the law applicable to the dispute.

This arbitration provision does not apply where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to bring the claim before a court, regulator or other tribunal.

Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking appropriate relief concerning infringement or misuse of intellectual-property rights where court relief is legally available.

Nothing prevents an eligible individual claim from being brought in an appropriate small-claims forum where permitted by applicable law.

21.3 Individual Proceedings and Class-Action Waiver

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND LISAUCH CROCHET AGREE THAT CLAIMS SUBJECT TO ARBITRATION WILL BE BROUGHT ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN A PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

An arbitrator may award relief available to the individual claimant under applicable law.

This provision does not restrict any class, representative, collective, public-injunction or similar right that applicable law provides and does not permit to be waived.

21.4 Mass or Coordinated Arbitration

Where 50 or more substantially similar individual arbitration demands are submitted against LisaAuch Crochet or applicable vendors or service providers within approximately the same period and are coordinated by, or with the assistance of, the same or coordinated counsel, organisations or other representatives, they may be treated as coordinated or mass arbitration demands to the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable arbitration rules.

The parties agree, to the extent legally permissible, that the arbitration provider may administer such demands through reasonable:

  • batching;
  • bellwether proceedings;
  • staged proceedings;
  • coordinated proceedings; or
  • other mass-arbitration procedures available under the provider’s applicable rules.

The purpose of this provision is to promote efficient and fair administration of substantially similar individual claims and not to prevent a claimant from pursuing an individual claim that applicable law permits.

Any mass-arbitration procedure remains subject to applicable law and the authority and rules of the arbitration provider.

21.5 Arbitration Procedure

Where arbitration is required and legally enforceable, the parties will attempt to agree upon an appropriate recognised arbitration provider and procedure, having regard to:

  • the parties’ locations;
  • applicable law;
  • the nature of the dispute; and
  • applicable consumer-protection requirements.

If applicable law requires a particular arbitral forum, procedure, location or allocation of fees for an arbitration agreement to remain enforceable, those mandatory requirements will apply.

No provision of these Terms requires a consumer to pay arbitration costs that applicable law requires LisaAuch Crochet to pay.

21.6 Authority and Remedies

Subject to applicable law, an arbitrator may determine issues properly submitted to arbitration and may award remedies available under applicable law and the applicable arbitration rules.

An arbitration award will be binding to the extent provided by applicable law and may be enforced by a court of competent jurisdiction.

21.7 Severability of Arbitration Provisions

If a particular provision of this arbitration section is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed or limited to the minimum extent necessary where legally permissible.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

21.8 Survival

This dispute-resolution section survives termination of your use of the Site to the extent permitted by applicable law.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

LisaAuch Crochet is operated from Scotland.

Subject to mandatory laws that apply to you, these Terms and disputes arising from or relating to the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland.

Subject to the arbitration provisions above and any mandatory right you have to bring proceedings elsewhere, the courts of Scotland shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Site.

Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory laws or jurisdictional rights that apply to them and cannot lawfully be excluded by contract.

23. Privacy, Website Technology and Electronic Communication Claims

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the dispute-resolution and governing-law provisions contained in these Terms apply to claims arising from or relating to technologies or services used in connection with the Site, including:

  • cookies;
  • pixels;
  • tags;
  • scripts;
  • analytics technologies;
  • advertising technologies;
  • session information;
  • website interactions;
  • electronic communications;
  • browser or device information; and
  • other forms of website data collection or processing.

Nothing in this section waives, excludes or restricts a statutory privacy, consumer or other legal right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived, excluded or restricted.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when reasonably necessary to reflect changes to the Site, our services, technologies, business practices, legal requirements or regulatory guidance.

If we revise these Terms, we will update the “Last Updated” date and, where required by applicable law, provide additional notice of the changes.

Any revised Terms will apply only from their stated effective date and will not apply retroactively.

No revision will remove, reduce or waive any mandatory right, remedy, protection or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived.

Material changes to the arbitration provisions will not apply retroactively to an individual dispute for which valid written notice was provided before the change became effective, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

25. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court, arbitrator or other competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed or limited to the minimum extent necessary where legally permissible.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

26. No Waiver

If LisaAuch Crochet does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision later.

For example, failing to take immediate action against an unauthorised use of LisaAuch Crochet content does not mean that permission has been granted or that LisaAuch Crochet has surrendered its applicable rights.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Crochet Pattern Use & Copyright Policy and any additional terms expressly applicable to a particular product or service, constitute the agreement concerning your use of the Site to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If a particular Digital Product, service or transaction contains additional terms that conflict with these general Terms, the specific terms will control for that product, service or transaction to the extent of the conflict and to the extent permitted by applicable law.
