    .Hat Circumference = 13″ approx. 
    Crown width/Circle Diameter = 4″approx 
     Rnd 1: ch 3,  working 8 hdc into the first chain, slip st to join (8sts)
     Rnd 2: Ch 2, 2 hdc in each st around, slip st to join (16sts )
    Rnd 3: Ch 2, *2 hdc in next stitch, hdc into the next st* repeat from * to* around slip st to join. (24sts)
    Rnd 4: Ch 2, *2 hdc in next stitch, hdc into the next 2sts* repeat from * to* around slip st to join. (32sts)
    Rnd 5: Ch 2, *2 hdc in next stitch, hdc into the next 3sts* repeat from * to* around slip st to join. (40sts)Circles Diameter (across flat circle side to side) for SIZE Should measure  4″ approx 
    Rnd 6: Ch 2, work 1 hdc in each st around, slip st to join. (40sts )
    Rnd 7 to Rnd 13: Ch 2, hdc in each st around, slip st to join. (40sts) Fasten off and weave in ends.
